The harmonic reducer realizes the harmonic transmission function through elastic deformation. Compared with other gear reducers, its noise is relatively small. The main reason for the noise is the friction, vibration and collision of the transmission gear. What are the causes and solutions of the noise of our harmonic reducer?
1. Reason 1 for noise:
Product accuracy problem: The accuracy of the harmonic reducer is not up to standard, which will cause more intense friction, vibration and collision of the transmission gear, resulting in greater noise and damage to the harmonic reducer in severe cases.
Solution: Strictly control its accuracy during production.
2. The second reason for the noise:
Incorrect use of lubricating grease: Unreasonable lubrication and incorrect use of lubricating grease will cause immeasurable damage to the reducer. At high speed, the friction of the gear tooth surface will generate a lot of heat energy. Improper lubrication will cause damage to the gear teeth, affect the accuracy, and increase the noise. The design requires the gear pair to have appropriate clearance (the clearance between the non-working surfaces of the meshing gear teeth to compensate for thermal deformation and store lubricating grease).
Solution: The correct selection and use of the special grease for the harmonic reducer can ensure the safe and effective operation of the system, delay the deterioration trend and stabilize the noise level.
3. Three reasons for noise:
Wrong use of harmonic reducer: the noise of harmonic reducer will increase with the increase of load, and the use of illegal oversized load will increase its noise and greatly shorten its service life.
Solution: Use it normally according to the load range specified by the manufacturer.
