Common faults in the operation of gear reducers
1: The sound of the gear reducer is abnormal or noisy
Reasons: There are more lubricating oil residues; the gear meshing position is damaged, the gear gap is enlarged, and the bearing gap is large; the bearing is damaged or damaged more seriously.
Remedy: Check the toothing parts, it is very likely that the damaged parts need to be replaced. Adjust the bearing clearance. Disassemble and replace damaged bearings.
2: Bearing temperature is too high
Reasons: the amount of oil in the reducer is too low; too little lubricating oil, the lubricating oil has become brittle; the bearing is damaged.
Remedy: Check the amount of oil at room temperature, it is likely to need to add lubricating oil. When is the maintenance before the inspection, it is likely that the lubricant needs to be removed and replaced. Check the bearing, it is likely to need to be replaced.
Three: oil seal seepage, oil seepage
Reason: oil seal failure
Remedy: Remove and replace the oil seal. Check the damage of the shaft at the oil seal position, it is likely to need to be replaced.
4: Reducer working temperature is high
Reason: The amount of oil in the reducer is too high or the amount of oil is small, the oil has become brittle, and the lubricating oil is seriously polluted.
Remedy: Check the amount of oil, it is likely that the amount of oil needs to be corrected. When is the maintenance before adding the lubricant inspection? It is very likely that the lubricant needs to be removed and replaced
Five: tooth surface damage or corrosion
Reason: The quality of lubricating oil is not good enough or contains residue.
Remedy: disassemble and replace damaged gears and change lubricating oil.
Six: broken gear teeth
Reasons: overloaded work, gear quality problems.
Remedy: disassemble and replace parts and re-calculate the load to see if the model selection is correct.
Seven: The input shaft is broken
Reason: The axial force is too large, the installation deviation of the coupling is too large, and the quality problem.
Remedy: dismantle and replace parts. When the customer uses the belt pulley to input power, check whether the axial force exceeds the specified larger value. Check whether the angle deviation of the coupling installation is out of tolerance.
Eight: the deceleration case body is cracked
Reason: excessive axial force, broken gear teeth, quality problems.
Remedy: When the customer uses a chain drive to output power, it is very necessary to check the axial force. If the axial force exceeds the specified larger value, it is recommended that the customer use a welded box or an enlarged model.
